My computer auto updated Avast this morning and now Firefox and Thunderbird will not load. There is a small hourglass next to the cursor for a second but that's all. I can see it load in the task manager for about 1 second then it disappears. Tried disabling Avast, restarting, computer keeps passing safe mode when I try to start it that way. I have no other browsers on that pc. I'm assuming Avast because it was fine yesterday, the only change today was Avast doing stuff. Thanks

More info- uninstalled Firefox and the reinstall works. Tried the same for Thunderbird but still not loading...

If you think Avast is causing the problem with Thunderbird, check with Avast support.

I'm not sure it was Avast, just noticed it did an update and was wondering if there were others experiencing the same issue. There's 1 Firefox and 1 Thunderbird post having about the same issue within the last 24 hrs.

There was a problem with Hitman Pro.
