How to change bookmarks default location
I just recently noticed that when I save a new bookmark that it saves into something called "other bookmarks", how do I change this to the normal Bookmarks menu? This is highly annoying as I have to go in and manually move it to the Bookmarks menu so it shows up under that instead of "other bookmarks". It didn't used to do this until this new version of FF.
Also, don't want the obligatory "just select it in the drop down menu" or whatever it's called, I'd prefer it to just happen. If I have a special bookmark that I want in a special folder, then I'll save it there.
Oh, also don't want "just get this addon", getting sick of having to get more addons to make FF work like it used to instead of Mozilla forcing more changes on us that we don't need.
We shouldn't have to get ANOTHER addon just because Mozilla wants to change something just for the sake of changing it when there is no reason to change it. I'll switch over to Chrome if that keeps up.

Sorry, but without an extension changing the default bookmark "save" folder isn't possible.
Just in case you decide to settle for an extension:
