Hi All,

When I sort by subject, message subjects starting with FW, FWD etc get sorted seperately from the thread they belong to. Replies starting RE etc get sorted within the thread they belong to. Is there a way I can fix this?

Example, if I receive an email "FWD: Have you seen this" and I reply, the subject becomes "RE: Have you seen this" and sorting breaks between the subjects.

Thanks,

Haydn.

You can sort by date, and threaded. View (Alt-V) - Sort by

Hi Christ1, unfortunately this doesn't solve my problem, "view threaded" is a close workaround though.

If I click the "subject" title bar to sort by subject, "RE:" is ignored in the ordering but "FW:" isn't. So "My Subject" and "RE: My Subject" both get sorted under "M", however "FW: My Subject" gets sorted under "F".

Another workaround to this is to add "FW" "FWD" etc to "localizedRe", but then the subject in the message list pane gets changed to "RE:" which is a little confusing.
