Windows 10 Trying to download anything from VEEHD.com Click on any file - Click on "Download" Right click on blue link - Save link as. . . Used to work all the time. There was an option to save as an AVI file. That is no longer there.

It's possible the file that tells Firefox what to do with files is damaged.

mimeTypes.rdf : What to do with what type of file. handlers.json : In Firefox v55+ the name was changed.

Type about:support<enter> in the address bar.

Under the page logo on the left side, you will see Application Basics. Under this find Profile Folder. To its right press the button Show Folder. This will open your file browser to the current Firefox profile. Now Close Firefox.

Locate the above file. Then rename or delete it. Restart Firefox.

This download manager works separately from the browser. The browser tells it what to download, and off it goes.
