I have installed the English language dictionary Add-on in firefox. However when I right click and try to select English in Languages the English dictionary does not show as an option. Only my native (Dutch) language.

Make sure to have read How do I use the Firefox spell checker? support article. Are you sure you installed a Dictionary, not a Language pack, as well as the dictionary is showing up and enabled in Add-ons > Dictionaries?

Thank you. I'm a idiot and indeed installed a language pack instead of a dictionary. Solved now.
