Thunderbird IMAP Inbox folder is missing. Using "Repair" doesn't work. Attempts to manually create an "Inbox" folder returns a message that it already exisits.

I have 3 IMAP accounts Thunderbird looks at. 2 of them are still functioning correctly. Primary one is missing the "Inbox" folder but "Inbox.msf" still shows. Attempt to "repair" doesn't work. Deleting "msf" files doesn't work. A check with Explorer doesn't show the folder for the primary account but is still showing on the other two. An attempt to create a new folder directly has a message that the folder already exists. Again, two other accounts on the same server are working correctly with all Inboxes and msf files showing. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Lets move back to Thunderbird.

Is the folder pane view set to all? If not set it to all. Does the folder appear.

Right click the account in the all folder view and select Subscribe. Is the folder subscribed?

Check your trash / Deleted folder in the account. Have you dragged the inbox into it or another folder by accident?
