It gives me a box saying Thunderbird crashed and I can send report. I did - but I have restarted computer 2x and still nothing. When I opened details, this is what was there. I of course do not understand any of this.

Restart the operating system in safe mode with Networking. This loads only the very basics needed to start your computer while enabling an Internet connection. Click on your operating system for instructions on how to start in safe mode: Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, OSX

Thunderbird might start and then you can use the in Thunderbird way of accessing the relevant reports.

bunny3, did your crashes stop ? And if they stopped, what helped ?

Hi Wayne,

I had a friend replace the hard drive in the computer first - after running a report on it - it was not dying, but

showed signs of failing possibly in the future. Didn't want to take a chance, so replaced it. We reinstalled Thunderbird after replacing the hard drive and all has been working fine. Thank you so much, Bunny
