behavior since 86.0 64Bit My website chat opens a second Firefox Window on PM Chat. When sending a message in PM Window the PM Window is going to Background if the same URL is shown in the Main Window. In case the Main Window shows another URL the second Window stays in Foreground. Greets Martin

Hi Martin, I'm not sure I understand the full picture. Is this it:

You have window #1 and click a link or button that opens a URL in a new window #2. Window #2 has focus, and window #1 is in the background.

You switch to window #1 without closing window #2. Window #2 is in the background, window #1 has focus.

In window #1 you click a link or button that sends a URL to window #2:

  • If it is the same URL as before, then window #2 is not brought into focus
  • If it is a different URL, then window #2 is brought into focus

Is that what you see?

Hmm, okay. When window #2 sends data, sometimes the URL of that window changes to the URL of the original opening window, and in that case, the window goes into the background? I don't understand what is happening there, so I'm not sure how to re-create the problem in a simple way. Is there is a demo site for the Chat product?
