Firefox functionality with Express VPN

more options

I have been using Firefox (my primary browser) with Express VPN for two years. Lately Firefox will not download a home page if the VPN is connected. If I disconnect the VPN, Firefox will load, but at a very slow rate (close to a minute). I have tried starting Firefox with extensions disabled which had no effect. I have also communicated with Express VPN and have submitted diagnostic data to them. They state that since Chrome and Edge works fine with Express VPN, that the issue is with Firefox. I have used Firefox for quite a while and like the platform . . . but I must use a VPN and if the choice has to be made, I will become an Edge or Chrome user. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

OK . . . I'll make you a deal. Tell me how to disable the Mozilla VPN so that I can use the VPN that I have already paid a subscription for . . . or I will be forced to move to another browser. I really like Firefox, but this has been handled in a very clumsy manner. I have been trying to figure out, for over a month, what the problem with my computer is . . . and the problem appears to be that the Firefox VPN is conflicting with Express VPN. Really irritating to be a user and not know about the addition of a VPN to Firefox.

I'm sorry richard.

i have absolutely no idea on how to help you in this regard. Further, it is unclear if FF vpn is the issue here. But seems reasonable.

there may be a possible solution, though.

option 1 - if a previous version of FireFox worked well for you, then you might want to consider downgrading.

but for me, life is too short to out wit FireFox issues. i'd rather leave this up to them young coffee guzzling mozilla brainiacs instead.

option 2 - so if this particular issue does not occur with other browsers, i say use them (at least for now)

let me us know which option you want.
