I'm on Thunderbird 102.0.1 on a Windows 11 system. My Thunderbird is set up to fully use a CardDAV address book hosted on an own server. The address book nicely integrates and works smoothly.

However, since upgrading to TB 102, I failed to use this address book for auto complete and auto-look-up when composing new mails.

In Settings > Composition > Addressing, I can set TB to use "local address books" and I can set "directory servers" (no idea what that is).

But there's no option to use my already integrated CardDAV address book here. Please help.

Ok, I solved this. After the upgrade to 102 my plugins to handle the CardDAV contacts were still active and the address book was "kinda" auto-imported.

Anyway, needed to switch to TB's native CardDAV support. Now, everything runs smoothly again.
