Thunderbird 102 updated last night. Program started up in the new format and downloaded messages but does not display any content in the message box; emails are completely blank. I can see emails new and old in the list for all accounts and folders but no content visible at all. Help!

I was able to recover after re-installing a new copy of Thunderbird 102.2.2 over the current installation. Then went to Help->'TroubleShoot Mode' and was able to see the mail. Next launch of Thunderbird had same problem. Again went to Help->'TroubleShoot Mode' only this time I selected "Reset toolbars and controls". Its been running fine since.

As an aside, @Toad-Hall had a suggestion to use a recent version of 'prefs.js' - Exit Thunderbird. - Rename 'prefs.js' to 'prefs.js.old' - Rename the 'prefs-x.js' (where x is the highest number and file has good size' ) to 'prefs.js' - Start Thunderbird. That gave me hope as I was able to search for messages until next launch.
