Need to delete a second copy of an account without deleting the original or the account itself
My wife and I share a single Windows 10 PC, but with our own separate accounts. My wife has her own copy of Thunderbird installed on her Windows account.
The problem occurred when I set up what was supposed to be a mirror of her Thunderbird account on my Windows account.
Most of the time, email messages she creates or receives on her instance of Thunderbird on her Windows account appear on my copy, but not always. This scheme is not working as we hoped it would.
I'd like to remove my copy of her account, but I'm very concerned that I might also delete the REAL instance of her account installed on her Windows account, and especially her actual Thunderbird account.
How can I delete just my duplicate of her Thunderbird account in my Windows account without deleting anything on her Windows account?

If she is running a separate copy of Thunderbird, then you're safe to remove your copy.

Thanks!
I had hoped that was the case, but hope isn't always enough.
You're welcome. I wish more people asked before making some of the changes they do. :)
