I've tried disabling all my add-ons and no luck. Cleared caches and ups-related cookies. Chrome resolves ups.com to https://www.ups.com/us/en/Home.page, but Firefox won't. If I type that full address it connects fine. Just ups.com gives a site timed out message (see image). Thanks, DougP

https://ups.com works for me, but not if I leave out the https://, apparently Firefox tries http://ups.com/ and that fails for some reason.

OK, so the problem is why it doesn't try the secure connection first. This happens even when EFF's HTTPS Everywhere is turned on. What causes Firefox to resolve ups.com to http://ups.com? And how can I get it to stop doing that? This worked fine a few days ago, and there was at least one update since I tried it last.

It resolves for me. Who are you using for DNS? I'm using cloudflare 1.1.1.1 / 1.0.0.1. I would test this tool. https://www.grc.com/dns/benchmark.htm
