How to switch languages in the spellchecker which I even not can find in the toolbar?
I have recently changed from Explorer to Firefox due to the very smart notifier. I am a Norwegian living in Sweden, and I have bought a notebook and installed it with Swedish. This make it easier for me to comunicate with Swedish Authorities, and they are crazy, never moove to Sweden!!! In Explorer it was easy for me to change spellcheck between Norwegian and English which I use a lot! I do not like to use a translator cause it makes it more difficult, the translator is so "stupid"! :) As a new user with Firefox I can not even find the spellchecker, and I really hope there is an easy way to find it and also an easy way to switch!! (English spellchercker in Explorer was good) Sorry for misspellings!! You have to blame Firefox! lol

Did you install all the dictionaries that you want to use?
You can see which dictionary is selected if you right-click in a text area and open the Languages submenu. You can open the "Add Dictionaries" link to install a dictionary if you do not have one. Make sure that [X] "Check Spelling" in the right-click context menu has a tick.

You can look here for dictionaries:
Thanks!! No I did not install any extras. Have heard rumours about the installation but none of the friends I have asked knew anything more! This is even smarter and better in use then explorer!! Now I can change fast and furious!! God bless people that take the time to share their knowledge?
You're welcome.
If you need to change dictionaries often then look at these extensions:
- Dictionary Switcher - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/3414
- Dafizilla Spell Check by Site: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/10582/
Hm. Since I mostly switch between Swedish and English it goes fast enough so far, but it can be useful if I add Norwegian (and German) later. On the other hand you made me discover how easy it is to use the translator add Babelfish. Cause I sometimes just don`t know the English word and now I just need to switch back to Swedish, double click the word and there it is. Like for instance the Thyroid gland!! I start to love Firefox. Thanks!!!
