Why does a page come up with an exclamation mark encercled saying that there may be a risk and that I need to click to update? this is happening on my mother's desktop when her Mozilla loads. Thank you.
Whenever my mother opens up Mozilla there is a page with an encercled exclamation mark warning that there is a potential problem and that she needs to download and update. She's not sure if this is true as their are so many viruses out there. But she can't just "x" out the page and get rid of it. Should this be something about which she needs to be concerned? Thank you

If it is not an official Mozilla page from mozilla.com then it may be an attempt to install malware.
This issue can happen if you have a Firefox 3.5.x version installed.
The Firefox 3.5.x branch has reached end-of-life and is no longer maintained.
You will no longer receive security updates with that version.
You can update Firefox via "Help > Check for Updates" or download and install the latest Firefox 3.6.x or 4.0.x version.
