Imported IE Favorites do not show up under "Bookmark" even though they are in Firefox. How can we get them listed in "Bookmarks?"

We imported our Favorites from IE, but nothing is listed under "Bookmarks" in Firefox. We are pretty sure they were successfully imported because if the type the first letter of a site, Firefox auto-populates the address with the first letter bold. How can we get them listed under "Bookmarks."

Sometimes your imported bookmarks are all in a folder below the main level. You can use the bookmarks organizer to move them up to the top level of the bookmarks menu.

orange Firefox button > Bookmarks

or

Bookmarks menu > Show All Bookmarks

Any luck?

IE Favorites that are imported when you first install Firefox or when you use the File > Import menu item usually end up in their own separate folder named something like from Internet Explorer.

When you export the IE Favorites in bookmarks.htm format from the IE File > Import & Export menu item, and then import that file into Firefox thru the Library window (from the Show All Bookmarks menu item) > Import and Backup -> Import HTML --> from HTML file - those bookmarks are merged with the existing Firefox bookmarks, they're not in that separate folder.

Hi. The list of our favorites suddenly showed up under Bookmarks, but when I click on one, nothing happens. Shouldn't clicking on them take me to that site like what happens when you click on an IE Favorite? Please know that I really appreciate your help.

Yes, clicking a bookmark should actually work. Hopefully someone will have a troubleshooting suggestion for that problem.
