Firefox disabled AVG Safe Search & McAfee site advisor.What is the alternative?

Sometime ago both AVG & McAfee site Advisor were disabled by Mozilla Firefox as incompatible.Is there an alternative or are either compatible with the latest version of Firefox? I am not happy without this facility to monitor the sites I visit.

Are you aware that Firefox has that type of protection as a default feature, since Firefox 3.0? http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/phishing-protection/

If you need the bells & whistles type of alert that AVG and McAfee provide, try WOT.

Thank you ed-meister. I'm glad to learn I am being protected by Firefox. Maybe Firefox should have advised me of this at the time of disabling AVG & McAfee.
