Because I do not like anyone or anything entering data but me in my computer, and because I find it more annoying than anything else, my Firefox homepage is: http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=0 instead of http://www.google.com This allows full Google searches but without "Google Suggest" Until very recently I could, from this homepage, enter a search term, hit the "Enter" key, and get my search results. Now, nothing happens and I am returned to my homepage. BUT, if I click the "Google Search" button, the search feature works. I can search using Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, Ixquick, and other search engines (including http://www.google.com/) by entering a search term and hitting the Enter key, but not at http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=0 (incidentially, this is a fairly recent development within the past month or so). Do I need to revert back to a much earlier version of Firefox to restore the Enter key functiuonality at http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=0 If so, what is the most recent version that works the way I want it to?

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
