If this still applies I dare not download it as I will lose all my anti-virus protection. I cannot find any information on your website saying that Firefox 6 is now compatible with AVG anti-virus software.

AVG WILL work with FF6.0.1 & FF6.0.2 It's safe search that is the problem see below from AVG: Please rest assured you are still protected by AVG even if you have already upgraded to Firefox 6.0. The AVG Active Surf Shield component is still checking all data and will prevent you from accessing malicious content even though search results verdict icons are not available temporarily.

The solution if you need the icons is to upgrade to AVG2012

I use Kaspersky AV have no problem with it after the FF6 download however I do have other issues after that download.. Love their digital keyboard & URL checker.. Thought when I retired I could just become an end user but it seems I sit here doing the 'patch this' thing.. FF is getting to be like IE & this is sad..
