Firefox disabled my Roboform toolbar. Then Firefox auto-updated to v 14.0.1 I downloaded the latest version of Roboform for Firefox (7.7.9.9) It installs o.k. and the collapsed version of the Roboform toolbar appears. However, as soon as I attempt to use Roboform it crashes Firefox and Firefox restarts with Roboform disabled.

Those crashes look like they have been Fixed in Firefox 16, which is currently available for testing on the Aurora channel. http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/#aurora. Would you mind upgrading to Aurora and testing it to see if Roboform will crash there?

I also have this problem but I did install the Roboform Lite 3.0.0 addon which at least makes it possible to use Roboform.

We're sorry to hear that your Firefox seems to be crashing. Please perform the following steps to give us a crash report ID that helps us find out more about the cause of the crash.

  1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox location bar (that's where you enter your website names) and press Enter. You should now see a list of submitted crash reports.
  2. Copy the most recent 5 report IDs that you see in the crash report window and paste them into your forum response.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi,

I have the same problem! It's driving me nuts! Everytime I'm trying to use roboform 7.7.9.9 with FF 14.0.1 it crashes and closes the window. Then when I restart FF...and if I go to the site I wanted to login to manually...the roboform then does it's job and ogs me in. What's going on?? Every time this is happening?

My 5 most recent crash reports are:

Hi Tyler,

thanks for your response. I actually found a link to FF 15 beta or something....intsalled it and now it's not conflicting with Roboform!! :)

Thanks for your reply :)

I'm having the same problem, but with Firefox 15.0.1. Sometimes when I open a new tab with the latest Roboform (7.8.2.5) I get a pop-up window that says "Could not load Roboform Addon." Usually after that, navigating to a few web pages causes Firefox to crash. This has been happening now for a while and is getting incredibly annoying. Happens in Chrome too. Not exactly the same way, but it causes Chrome to crash as well. Anyway, here are the latest crash reports:

http://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/bp-35fe818e-e8a9-4e91-9c3b-172c12120918 http://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/bp-5d6bcc40-41d1-4c6d-9c2c-0ac502120918 http://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/bp-9d9a6ba3-d696-4054-9635-c4f7d2120918 http://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/bp-c999556e-7bdb-46a3-aee3-f0b972120918 http://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/bp-ad3599c0-cc60-4218-8fb1-585732120917

Anyway, hope this helps. Gonna try using Aurora and see if it doesn't crash. I'll post a reply with my results.

Yep. It seems that it's been fixed in Firefox 16. I haven't had one "Could not load Roboform addon" dialog or one crash so far. Course I just installed it last night. Gonna keep this thread updated with any changes.
