Whenever I go to what seems like any web page, a whole slew of these errors appear:
Hi, when I go to a web page and open the Error console, there are many, many of these error messages.
Timestamp: 12/19/2012 11:08:28 PM Error: [Exception... "'JavaScript component does not have a method named: "onStatusChange"' when calling method: [nsIWebProgressListener::onStatusChange]" nsresult: "0x80570030 (NS_ERROR_XPC_JSOBJECT_HAS_NO_FUNCTION_NAMED)" location: "<unknown>" data: no]
When I first saw it, I thought it was a jquery thing because I was developing a website using Responsive Design. But I removed all the jquery and they still remained. I later discovered that they show up on other web sites too. Is there a way to fix this? I like FF's javascript error console better than other browsers, but now it's impossible to use.

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.
To Reset Firefox do the following:
- Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
- Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
- Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
- Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.
Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.
it's something to do with BillG and his poxy settings on files i reckon.
Plus the ceaseless updating of ffox instead of sticking to a stable engine only changing say once per year on 1st April. -keep the geeks away
What if you can't reset the Firefox settings because you don't want to go back and reset everything you just removed to solve a small line of code setting.
Stop being lazy and killing a fly with a nuclear weapon! Take a look at the code line, find the issue, resolve the line, not reset the entire browser! (Pfft! Some help resolution this is!)
