Firefox becomes corrupt (Webpages appearing as text only, etc) every 30 days.
After installing Firefox several months ago, I find it becomes corrupt every 30 days to the day, I realized this when I noticed my bookmark backup was dated exactly 1 month apart for the last 3 months. This has happened every month. The corruption includes, web pages appearing as text only, other pages won't open, items missing off webpages such as my Google personalized home page, all personalization gone, this is just to mention a few. It is basically unusable. I had to uninstall and reinstall, which did not initially fix the problem, I then realized I also had to delete the profile, I again reinstalled and it was fixed. Unfortunately all my cookies and passwords and so on were not there so everything i went into had to be set back up again. A real pain to say the least, if I cannot find the issue I will probably have to go back to IE or maybe try chrome. Any suggestions?

As a possible cause for such a corruption you can look at security software that doesn't immediately trust a new updated Firefox version and decides to change (corrupt) HTTP response headers or suppress files.
Other possible causes are cleanup software that runs once a month and corrupts files in the Firefox profile folder or an incompatible or otherwise misconfigured extension (less likely if it happens each month).
I checked my Internet Security (Trend Micro Titanium) and sure enough their was a scan scheduled to run every month on the 15th, the same day that my Firefox crashed every month, called System Tuner. I turned that scan off so I will see next month if that fixed it. Thanks for the help.
I use system turner several times a month. That is not the my problem as this happens the 16th of every month.
I have not had this problem ever since I turned system tuner off, 2 months now, it used to get corrupt every month on the 15th, exactly when system tuner was scheduled to run. I am running XP and Firefox version 19 maybe that has something to so with it. Don't know but that has fixed my problem.
