Various menu boxes flash black and do not show up until moused over. This has been happening for a while and has not been fixed by updates.

For a while now menus like bookmarks and tools will black out and only reveal after a quick mouse over. I am running windows 7, most recent updates, and the most recent version of Firefox. I have linked a photo example of what happens to my bookmark menu.

Disabling Hardware Acceleration under Tools>Options>Advanced seems to have fixed the issue. I will update if it occurs with this disabled.
