Why are videos fully loading before allowing me to play them?

Rather than clicking a youtube video and letting me watch it (loading as the video goes along), now it loads the entire video before letting me play it. I've tested this, and it's pretty consistent. If the video is 30 seconds long, it will wait 30 seconds, THEN play the video. If it's two minutes long, it will take almost exactly two minutes, and then it will play the video. So this leads me to believe that the video is loaded, but it's taking the entire duration of the video, in order to START the video for some reason. This is really annoying and I don't know if it is because of Firefox or something else. I didn't download or install any new add-ons lately, and I can't think of any reason why it would be doing this.

Maybe your security software is scanning the full video file before passing it to Firefox.
