Hello,
Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most add-ons.
(If you're not using it, switch to the Default theme.)
- On Windows you can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
- On Mac you can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the option key while starting Firefox.
- On Linux you can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by quitting Firefox and then going to your Terminal and running: firefox -safe-mode (you may need to specify the Firefox installation path e.g. /usr/lib/firefox)
- Or open the Help menu and click on the Restart with Add-ons Disabled... menu item while Firefox is running.
Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article for that.
To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.
When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help other users who have the same problem.

i tried it in safe mode and it still does it. The browser is not crashing its just the scrolling is not working anymore. so i am not sure if the crash report will help ... i looked and there are only 3 c rash reports in it and this has happened hundreds of times.
arggg ...i just happend again... usally when i restart my mac it will be good for awhile ,then it will happen.. ONce it happens it seems to happen alot faster ... so i end up rebooting computer again. Its something with the mouse and touchpad ... The arrows still work on the keyboard to move the window up or down but the trackpad and mouse do not do anything
Try to modify the ui.trackpoint_hack.enabled pref on the about:config page from the default value -1 to 0 or 1 to see if that makes the touch pad work better.
Close and restart Firefox after changing the ui.trackpoint_hack.enabled pref.
- ui.trackpoint_hack.enabled (-1)(-1:autodetect;0:off;1:on)
If there is a problem with scrolling on web pages then try to disable smooth scrolling.
- Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > General: Browsing: "Use smooth scrolling"
went into about:config and searched for ui.trackpoint_hack.enabled and couldnt find it .. tried ui.trackpoint still wouldnt come up with anything
i did try the disable smooth scrolling and that was not it still doing it
