When importing an address book file into Thunderbird the original Personal Address Book remains as the default even though it's empty. Is there a way to delete this empty 'Personal Address Book'? Thanks .. Andy TB version 24.3.0

You can import the address book file into a new address book. Than drag and drop the imported contacts to your Personal Address Book.

How hard is it to select one contact, then press control+a to select all and drag them to the new book?

For some reason, ctrl+a didn't move the whole list. I had to move them one at a time. Is it so hard to let the user delete the Personal Address Book default and replace it with an address book of their choice?
