Why is Mozilla an intolerant company, unable to deal with diversity of opinion? I will be removing your products from all of my computers and devices....

I will not use nor recommend Mozilla again until Mr. Eich is re-installed as head of the company. Mozilla's blatant intolerance and bigotry is amazing. In America, it is OK to have different opinions and we also have protected freedom of speech. Until of course, we say or do something that the GLBT community doesn't like; then we are ostracized and worse. Mr. Eich did nothing to harm anyone. Why should his career be trashed by intolerance of his views and his freedoms? I'll find other products to use.

Our organizational culture reflects diversity and inclusiveness. We welcome contributions from everyone regardless of age, culture, ethnicity, gender, gender-identity, language, race, sexual orientation, geographical location and religious views. Mozilla supports equality for all. We have employees with a wide diversity of views. Our culture of openness extends to encouraging staff and community to share their beliefs and opinions in public. This is meant to distinguish Mozilla from most organizations and hold us to a higher standard. We absolutely believe both in equality and freedom of speech. Sometimes standing for both at the same time can be hard. A CEO needs to be able to lead, and under the circumstances in the last week with the scrutiny over this issue, Brendan made a personal choice to step down from the role.

You can take your further questions to the governance mailing list as this is a place to help users with issues with a Mozilla product, we do not deal with these types of issues here. None the less, we're not silencing you, we're providing you with the information that we have.
