Hello. Before today's update I was using the option to show text instead of icons on my toolbar buttons. Is this option removed now? I can't find it.

Before there was an option to use icons, text or icons with text. I am talking about 'Back', 'Home', Reload', 'Downloads' and other buttons. Can someone tell me if it still exists or was it removed completely? If so, maybe there is an add-on or something that does the same thing?

Thanks guigs2.

You're the first to give me this bugzilla link,cheers. I'll send them a message.

Though I actually don't consider it a bug. We had the button, they removed it for cosmetics (mobile UI, because who has notebooks or desktops, right...) and didn't give us the option to turn it back on. Seems more like a feature re-request (;

I know about the right click option, but with multiple downloads that quickly becomes a mouseclick orgy (or in my case wacom pen orgy, knotting my fingers while doing so).

That's not the advertized customizability and streamlined user friendly UI Australis was supposed to be... ...what an epic facepalm...

Hi V2die4com, Yes, there is an add on Classic Theme Restorer

The ability to move the home and reload are not movable without that add on. The download button is.

@guigs2

I really wish they and many others were customizable without this add-on.

Why / how they concluded a "more customizable" release is in fact removing customization is beyond my comprehension !

I for one miss the "pause" download button.

Hi DigitalBlade, there is a resume and pause option for large downloads on the about:downloads page as well as the downloads shortcut icon. If you click on the active download icon, a preview of the active downloads will show. Then you can right click to pause or resume. In order to suggest another use case for this I would recommend going to bugzilla.mozilla.org to suggest an enhancement to Firefox with as much detail as possible.
