We are web developers we have one serious alignmnet issuee.. I am using 29.0.1 and i code the website and it aligned perfectly specially navigation and footer. But when i open the website in my colleagues pcs using same 29.0.1 the alignment changes. I find it extremely difficult to code the pages because I have to redo the same page in my colleague pc. Is there a link where a volunteer could view the problem page? If so, please describe the steps to reproduce the problem.

Taking a guess here... if the problem is a one-pixel shift left/right, consider whether it could be a rounding error caused by a different window size. For example, if you use a percentage measurement, then you may see differences in alignment when you move the window frame one pixel at a time larger or smaller.

Can you attach a screenshot?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.

You can also check for issues caused by missing clear: both CSS rules.

The page(s) might have been by accident.
Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.

  • View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl/Command+0 (zero))

If changes have been to Advanced font settings like increasing the minimum/default font size then try the default minimum setting "none" and the default font size 16 in case the current setting is causing problems.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own fonts.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced: [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

It is better not to increase the minimum font size, but to use an extension to set the default page zoom to prevent issues with text not being displayed properly.
