Bookmarks Mess Around despite disconnect and restore
I use the latest version of FF with account sync.
Great to find so many backup copies of my bookmarks. I was not aware of this feature!
If I disconnect sync and restore from computer A. Reconnect sync. Does this mean that the restored bookmarks will appear in computer B after sync?
Despite of disconnect and restored my BM's I found this morning my BM reorganized during the night. I have not reconnect.
Any advice?
Endret

Firefox sync will only sync bookmarks that are local to the computer that the account it connected to. Please make sure to have a back up of your bookmarks if you plan on making any changed to the Firefox profile/bookmarks when disconnected from sync.
If Firefox got restarted then it might be possible that the bookmarks got restored from a JSON backup. If that was an older backup then this is a possible explanation.
My sync problem continues. I have now duplicates of several bookmarks. Se pic. Any clue how to solve/avoid?
You can try to disconnect all devices from Sync and possibly change the Sync password to reset all data stored on the server.
Then check and repair the places.sqlite database on all devices.
- Places Maintenance: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/places-maintenance/
If the Places Maintenance extension can't repair the places.sqlite database file then remove all places.sqlite file(s) in the Firefox profile folder to make Firefox rebuild the places.sqlite database file from the most recent JSON backup in the bookmarkbackups folder.

When the bookmarks on all devices are OK then connect one device and wait for the initial sync to complete and then continue with the next device.
I looked in my restore available backups. And found one from aug 27; 844 items 94,7 KB. The most recent from today contained 112571 items 8,4 MB so something is very wrong. I run the maint add on. Anyhow. I have restored the smallest backup from aug 27 and did a export to json file. I plan to restore this into my 2 other devices. However. I am think of uninstalling FF and reinstall it, just to me sure and 'clean'.
Question: when uninstalling does the uninstallation program remove all profile information a well; meaning I can be sure to have as as clean as possible. After reinstallation I plan to restore my my tiny backup containing 844 items.
One more question: I start with my fixed device and sync this to my account. When having done this I should take my other two devices and sync them and the bookmarks should be synced from my first fixed device?
Then I should be home again?
There is no need to uninstall and reinstall Firefox. Uninstalling Firefox normally wouldn't remove the personal data stored in the Firefox profile folder. The uninstall dialog may have a checkbox to remove personal data. Note that checking this item will remove all profiles in the default profile location, so use this with care. You can create a new profile to have a clean start.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.
See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
Ok, before creating a new profile. I have restored the tine backup with only 844 items o my units. I will reactivate the sync in order to see if this is working. If so I am done.
