What is the scope of the "Don't ask me again" checkbox for the 'Warning: unresponsive script'
Actually the link: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/warning-unresponsive-plugin Had a go at answering the question, it just has a vague answer - assuming it is directly relate-able to unresponsive scripts. "If you don't want to be warned when a plugin hangs, you can disable this warning by checking the "Don't ask me again" checkbox. When you do that, Firefox will allow the plugin to hang for up to 45 seconds before it crashes."
'it crashes' which refers to: A) the plugin and/or B) Firefox
What I would like is to be able to set Firefox to:
Stop the script when it exceeds dom.max_script_run_time without asking me
Endret

In most cases, Firefox is setup so that the plugins will crash instead of the entire Firefox. So in the context that you are referring to, "it crashes" is talking about the plugins.
If you want to find some more information about unresponsive scripts and some settings that can allow the scripts to run longer without the popup, please refer to this Mozilla support article:
