Missing Subfolder

more options

I was just checking, answering emails, etc. when all of a sudden a subfolder of my Inbox disappeared. (Using Thunderbird 45.2.0, with Gmail.) The weird thing is that when I check my profiles folder and the Imap Mail subfolder, both the "File" file and the .msf file are there...and looking at the .msf file in Notepad, I can see that all the emails that were in that folder are there. I did a re-start of Thumderbird, then a total system re-start, but the subfolder is still missing in the left-hand file list. Any thoughts?

Maybe in a unwantend mouse movement, this folder moves into another one and were converted in a sub-folder. Solution?

Click on the main folder to begin a search. In "advanced resources" click in search and ask to search one of the messages you are sure it is in this folder. Wait the list. If TB find the message, look at the end the path to the folder. And then you can find where your folder is.

Well, great idea...but that message is not to be found anywhere. Other suggestions?

unfortunalely not. I think you will need to download again these messages from your host. Normally the messages stay at host.

... and try to discover if maybe you have a rule that accidentaly delete these messages.
