Crashing/freezing on youtube videos mostly

HI there, I am getting unresponsive firefox, freezing and crashing mainly while on youtube videos. I restart my entire computer and this does not seem to help the problem HOwever if i use another browser such as safari, then the youtube videos work fine. My software if up to date. What else can I do without loosing all my saved bookmarks and tabs. THanks, SHanti

Did you try opening Firefox in safe mode and see if the problem is still there?
