Is there a way to prevent Thunderbird from sending an email created from a templet until you change the subject line?

I use Thunderbird to send emails for work and for the volunteer work I do. I use a template so that I can customize beyond my signature information. For example, I will create templates that state I am unavailable for certain periods do to travel, but only start using them about a month before the trip.

Try as I might, I do not always remember to change the subject line prior to sending.

Is there a way that I can keep Thunderbird from sending the email until I change the subject line. Like a pop up that would state "You have not changed the subject line on the template, do you really want to send?" Like the warning when the text contains the word attachment but there is nothing attached?

Thank you in advance.

The only warning I know of is one that alerts you to an empty subject line. Would storing templates without a subject be workable? (I guess not, as the subject is the best way of tracking what each template does.)

I use Stationery and Clippings for things I need to do repeatedly. Would either of these work for you?

IIRC, Stationery templates don't fill in the subject line, but it lets you associate names with them for ease of filing. So hopefully you'd get the "no subject" warning.

Clippings is handy for complicated bits of typing.
