Email passwords are administered with your email provider. Even they are not going to send you a new password. They will have a link on their email help page to reset a forgotten email password. Thunderbird has nothing to do with this and is not going to send you anything. No password is needed to install Thunderbird email client software. There is no Thunderbird email. Email comes from your email provider. You do have to know your email password to add your email account info to Thunderbird.
