YTD video downloader / converter not downloading music anymore since upgrade to Mojave??
I have been using an application called YTD (YouTube Downloader), for some years now, and recently it has started to not download certain videos on YouTube anymore.... Specifically, it will not download any music videos of songs anymore, but it will still download any other videos that are not music.... This seems to be a new thing, as I recently upgrade from High Sierra to Mojave, and a bunch of old apps. that I use no longer function correctly.... Does anyone else use YTD downloader application, and if so, is there a fix for the Mojave opersating system that will let it work correctly?? Thanks in advance!!

Thanks for the assistance, but strangely the problem seems to have corrected itself somehow, and is now working the way ti should.... It must have just been a temporary issue that was fixed when I shutdown and rebooted....

Also, I am using the free version, and have not purchased the Pro version, but I never needed to before....
Endret
You should contact its support.

That sounds like a good idea, but unable to find any direct support for this application, and so was hoping for some useful answers here.... Especially since it seems that the new lack of functionality coincides with the upgrade to a newer Mac operating system, which is not something that YTD implemented. I was trying to get some helpful workarounds from this forum, NOT just go talk to them!!

If another user around here uses that program, they might be able to help you with that.
Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for another download manager.
This download manager works separately from the browser. The browser tells it what to download, and off it goes.
http://www.freedownloadmanager.org It is a powerful modern download accelerator and organizer for Windows and Mac.

As long as the problem is gone, right? Please flag your last post as Solved Problem so others will know.
I already marked your answer above as Chosen Solution.... Thanks again for the advice!!
