I have a weird bug that is preventing me from using Facebook with version 79. When I write in Facebook Messenger, words just get repositioned in the message window. So for example if I want to write Facebook has a strange bug with Messenger what will show in the message line (and get sent upon entering) is k ange h MessFacebooha s a strbug wit enger

It doesn't happen with any other browser - I tested Brave, Vivaldi, & Opera. I kept the same # of other windows & tabs open. I have 8 gig RAM, no sign of maxing out from the Task Manager metrics.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?

While you are in safe mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.
