Hi,

When I try to access Firefox Task Manager from Menu>More, the Task Manager shortcut is not available (screenshot is attached). However it is accessible by about:performance command.

Could you please help me to solve this issue?

Thanks

Some menus have been rearranged in Firefox 87 and "Task Manager" has been moved to the Help menu.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Well, yet another update that adds more steps to our use of the browser, thanks....

Also, I don't see it in the Help Menu, where is it supposed to be?

Hi StevenCee

You can open about:performance directly via the location bar. You can find "Performance" on the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page. You can also find "Task Manager" under the "3-bar" Firefox menu button -> More

Could you please start a new thread for your question if this doesn't solve it?

OK, I checked it a bit more and they have been moving "Task Manager" around a few times with the new Proton design. They have been moving "Task Manager" around a few times with the new Proton design. In 87 "Task Manager" is moved to the Help menu, but this is reverted in 88+ and moved once again to the Tools menu under "Browser Tools". In 88 with Proton disabled it is not present under "Tools -> Browser Tools", but only present under the "3-bar" Firefox menu button drop-down list -> More. In 88 with Proton enabled and in 89+ it will be present once again under the Tools menu (Tools -> Browser Tools) and under the "3-bar" Firefox menu button drop-down list -> More Tools.

In all these version you can find it on the "Help -> (More) Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page under "Application Basics -> Performance -> about:performance". So only in Firefox 88 with Proton disabled (browser.proton.enabled = false) it is hard to find.
