Trouble Viewing Full Browsing History In Mozilla Desktop Browser
Hi,
For some reason I cannot view my full browsing history in the Mozilla desktop browser. As you will see in the attached the only viewing options are for Today, Yesterday, The Last 7 Days and This Month. So, I cannot see anything past this month, however, when I open Mozilla on my android device I can view my browsing history going way past this month. I have tried syncing my deskptop browser and using the search fuction within the browser history manager to find the item I'm looking for, but neither worked. My desktop browser seems to but cut-off to only view history within the aforementioned viewing options. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Obviously I can open the link in my android app, but this is really inconvenient as what I'm actually trying to do is scroll through 100's of links to find the right one, and doing this through the android app is not really an option as it closes the history panel each time I open a link from it, meaning I have to scroll way way back to the right month then find another link open it, check it, then repeat the process again and again.
I am on 91.0.1 (64-bit).
Thanks in advance, Rua

Is it possible that at some point about a month ago, your Firefox decided to create a new profile? One could check if there are other profiles in about:profiles and launch one in a new browser then set it as default.
Profile data can be removed or not recorded in several ways;
- 1) Running Firefox in Private Mode (nothing is recorded)
- 2) Privacy settings; (In the address bar, type about:preferences#privacy<enter>)
- 3) Many disk cleaners and anti-virus type programs can remove data from browsers
Open their settings and have them leave the browsers alone. - 4) Mal-ware.

There was one other profile, "Profile: default", which I launced in a new browser but that had no history at all. I think FredMcD may have pin-pointed the roote of the issue: I did an in-place upgrade of windows last week due to multiple issues with Windows, so that may have wiped out some of the history on my profile. Do you know if there is anyway of export the history from my android device and moving it the the webbrowser? I thought re-syncing my profile would have dealt with this but apparently not!

There is one thing along these lines which may be the root of the issue: I did an in-place upgrade of windows last week due to multiple issues with Windows. Assuming this may have wiped some data from my mozilla profile on my laptop? Do you know if there is anyway of exporting the history from my android device and moving it the the web browser? I thought re-syncing my profile would have dealt with this but it doesn't seem to make a difference.
Sync is not meant as a backup. If the data was removed from your profile, it might also have been removed from sync.

Does the android still have all its data? There is one way this might work.
Type https://accounts.firefox.com/settings<enter> in the address bar. Shut down the old sync. Then create a new account.
When creating the new account, start with the android. After, add any others one by one.
