Hi, is this on your iPhone, or on your computer?

On the iOS version of Firefox, the built-in home page has:

  • Shortcuts - links to your frequently visited sites, or links you pin there
  • Recommended by Pocket - trending stories on Pocket

To remove the Pocket section, or to change to a different home page, tap the menu button, then Settings

In the General section, tap Home

Now you can adjust the Firefox Home content, or switch to a different site as your home page.

Was that it?

For a computer, see: Customize your New Tab page to hide or display content.

Since you mentioned a blank page, try this:

tap the menu button > Settings > New Tab

This one lets you select Blank page.

Will give me a blank page when I get a new tab but not when I open up the app.

Maybe another support forum volunteer will have an idea for that.
