can't access certain websites or getting alerts because my firefox is not up to date when I have the latest version. Check for updates comes back with you have the latest version. Websites still saying this browser is not up to date

Explain to me any possible reasons why my browser is appearing to other websites to be an older unsecure version of firefox when everything on my end and mozilla website says I have the latest version. How can I access certain sites I need to use that won't let me continue because my browser is not up to date when my browser gives me no option to update and the only newer one is probably the incomplete beta test version anyway
