Firefox Private Browsing

more options

I recently added the Firefox Private Browsing feature and I believe I made a mistake. Since then my computer often slows to a crawl and I have to restart it to get it to function normally. I wish to delete the Firefox Private Browsing feature to end any burden it may be on my computer. I do mean delete and not disable.

How can I remove the Firefox Private Browsing feature?

Sincerely,

Michael Brandt [email removed from public]

The Firefox Private Browsing feature can hardly be a reason for Firefox to slow down as it has been around for a very long time.

What security software do you have?

It is possible that your firewall or other security software blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox application. Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Thanks for writing me back. The answer to your question is that I use Norton 360.
