Try clearing site cookies and disabling Tracking Protection for the site.

Does it still happen in Troubleshoot Mode?

Hello, thank you. Yes, I cleared the cookies and disabled tracking protection. Ultimately I installed the AVG browser and resolved the problem.

Does it still happen in a new profile? An easy way to test a new profile is to install Developer Edition and see if it happens there or refresh your existing profile. Make sure you stay signed out of your sync account when testing.

Thank you. I never sync, so that is not an issue. New profile? Developer Edition? Troubleshoot Mode? (from prior response). I am not familiar with any of that, but will research. I am just looking for a new browser after removing Google Chrome. I want to live a Google-free life. In the past I used Firefox, and it was still on my desktop, so I made it my default. But the Internet looks different with Firefox, including my own websites. I could not get Edge to download. But the AVG browser downloaded and fixed the issue. With AVG, the Internet looks more like it did with Chrome. My websites work better with AVG. So I am still looking for a browser, and a local tech/IT company in Ocala, FL for my business.
