Ublock Origins installed but no icon or info available
I recently updated to ESR 115 and then to ESR 128.2 and I noticed that there's no Ublock Origins icon. I checked my settings and was shown to a window of installed and suggested add-ons and there I found an entry for Ublock Origins with a blue on button marked, nevertheless, I can't find where it is and I can no longer find any window showing what it's blocking.
I've read about this in earlier threads, one from 2019, one from 2021.
I would like the Ublock Origins to be visible and also to be showing what it's doing. It used to show a number of hits that would go up with each website that was open, as it was blocking things.
I'm using a win64 windows 10 22H2
The attached picture is of what I'm NOT gettting. It's from a website describing how ublock origins normally looks.
Thank you.

Hi jonzn4SUZE,
Thank you for your response. I don't think I understood what you wanted to say. I clicked on the puzzle piece and it took me to Manage Add-Ons. Did you want to suggest that I never installed it, because this was not the case.
After having this problem that I couldn't see the add-on, I tried installing UBlock Origins for an earlier version 115.15.0esr, which is not the most recent version, and the add on is there where it's supposed to be and I can see it working. It was when I updated to the more recent version 128.3esr that the icon for UBlock Origins disappeared, even after I had installed it.
Click the jigsaw puzzle piece then the gear-wheel next to μBlock Origin and tick the Pin to Toolbar box.
If you can click on that puzzle piece icon it should open a dropdown with all your addons. Then you can right-click uBlock Origin and choose "Pin to Toolbar". Which should give it its own icon outside of this Addons area.
If you can't do any of that, you might just need to reset all the icon placements using the "Restore Defaults" option in the Customize Dialog. It sounds like the file that holds where the icons appear was damaged. So if you reset those customizations then you will have to do them all over again but I believe that will restore the uBlock Origin addon icon.
Try to remember your current layout if you care to restore it to how it was after the reset.
First click the 3 line menu button, then More tools and choose Customize toolbar…. Then follow the steps here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/customize-firefox-controls-buttons-and-toolbars#w_having-problems
