How do I enable The Google Quick Search Box feature?
The Google Quick Search Box on the toolbar no longer will search when entered. The search request registers but won't search. I have to go to Google.com in order to use the Google search engine. The quick search was handy and I'd like to have it back. Per Google I need to enable it by clicking on the "wrench", search and enable... but it's not there to enable. HELP!

You can also access the Google Toolbar Options thru Tools > Addons > Extensions - Google Toolbar for Firefox & then right-click that extension and click on Options.
See this for support information about the Google Toolbar.

Or visit the Google Toolbar forum.

Your help suggestion did not work. When I went into tools and selected add ons, this error message popped up: Warning: Unresponsive script--A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete. Script: file:///C:/Program%20Files/Mozilla%20Firefox/components/nsExtensionManager.js:623
Clicking either continue or stop script hasn't shown any results. After closing this, I again went into tools, add ons and now nothing happens.
Do you have the Personas Plus 1.6 extension? If you have then update to the 1.6.1 version: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/10900/
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

I'm afraid you've gone pass my computer capabilities with this answer. How do I find out what version I have and if I download the suggested version will it erase the version I have (if I have one)?
