Hi, when I log onto Firefox and click the Bookmarks tab at the top of the page my bookmarks appeared along with their icons beside them, which makes things faster to find, now all of the icons have dissappeared, when I'm on a page I can bookmark it and the icon appears but as soon as I close the page I loose the icon beside the bookmark again. I use a G5 powermac Thanks

Try to restore them with this extension:

  • You enter Private Browsing mode if you select: Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > History: Firefox will: "Never Remember History"
  • To see all History and Cookie settings, choose: Firefox > Preferences > Privacy, choose the setting Firefox will: Use custom settings for history
  • Uncheck: [ ] "Automatically start Firefox in a private browsing session"
