when i begin to type in the search bar a drop down aooears (most visited) how do i delete an entry here

when i begin to type an address in the toolobar (i.e. www) a drop down menu appears with i think most visited sites. some have a yellow star. how can i delete one or more of these from this drop down?

Use your arrow down to select the site you want to get rid of and hit Shift-Delete.
