Whenever I try to load a webpage it takes over a miute to load, if i try and open a new tab, it will take over a minute too, any website I go to on my new updated Firefox will take a very long time, why?

For example, if I go to weheartit.com and click the "next" button to load the next page, it will take longer than ive ever seen it take a webpage, and someone goes on Facebook and loads a page that will take a long time too. If I press "Open in new tab" that also takes a long time as well as "Open in new window."I thought it was supposed to be faster.
