URL tab has disappeared. Can't see what site I'm visiting!

The tab showing the URL of the site I'm visiting has disappeared - and I cannot get it back. Also, the arrow that allows me to go back to the previous screen has disappeared. These are both serious and I cannot find a way to get them back.

Note that you can use one of these to set which toolbars to show in case you hide the Navigation Toolbar or one of the others by accident.

  • Firefox menu button > Options
  • View > Toolbars (press F10 to display the menu bar)
  • Right-click empty toolbar area

Hit the firefox button (if its there) > Options (Hover over this) > Toolbar Layout > Reset toolbar layout
