Why does it take so long for firefox to sync my open tabs across my devices in comparison to chrome which does it almost instantly?

Chrome's tab sync works instantly across all devices. In firefox I'll be lucky if a tab syncs at all.

Hello,

Thanks for your feedback. If you get time please also post your comments here:

https://input.mozilla.org/en-GB/feedback

This will ensure that your feedback gets to the right person/team.

I also notice that you are using Firefox v20 which is now out of date. I don't know if any changes have been made to Firefox Sync since v20 but I recommend keeping up to date with the latest version (v26) so that you get the latest security patches and so that you will see any recent improvements to Firefox Sync.

Thanks for the reply. I am actually using The latest nightly build but have changed my version to 20 in order for some addons to work.

I will post this in the feedback section as well.
